Privacy at Tutoroot

Here is what Tutoroot saves and what a linked parent can see.

What Tutoroot saves

  • Your student profile and settings, including your study buddy name, grade, school type, test date, age range, study focus, and daily goal.
  • Practice and diagnostic scores, activity and streak records, badges, and the review list of cards or questions to try again.
  • Your latest full-length practice test essay, saved with its prompt in your student account. Essays are not scored.
  • Reports you send about a question, including its question and guide IDs, level, reason, and any note you add.

Tutor chat is not available right now.

Who can see saved information

You can see your saved information in Tutoroot. A parent linked with your student ID can see profile details and practice progress shown in the parent dashboard. The dashboard currently displays scores and topics, not essay text.

How to delete your Tutoroot data

Open Progress and choose Delete my profile and practice results. This removes your saved Tutoroot profile and practice data, question reports, and reminder schedule. It does not delete the Google account you used to sign in.
